The ILDI Web-Photo Policy, effective 9/14/06:

We like to share the excitement of our Illinois Destination Imagination
activities with as many people as possible; therefore, ILDI and its
designated volunteers take random photos at many official ILDI functions,
such as training sessions and tournaments.  Selected photos will be made
available for viewing via the Internet.  Our web-photos are not intended to
completely document all activities, but simply to provide a visual sketch
of the fun it is belonging to ILDI.  Some photos, usually those showing
specific areas of competition, will NOT be available for Internet viewing
until the end of the annual competitions.  To see all of the selected
web-photos, be sure to visit our Internet site after Global Finals.

We understand that many personal photos also are taken at our events and
ILDI will continue to welcome cameras.  If you plan to take, or have taken,
digital photos at our events, please share them with us.  'The more
(photos) the merrier.'  We hope to have a computer-photo-docking station
located at many of our tournaments to make photo-sharing easy.  Shared
photos become the non-exclusive property of ILDI and may be used by ILDI in
any fashion whatsoever.

All web-photos are copyright by ILDI AND its photographers and may be
reproduced for private use only.  Other uses require the WRITTEN permission
of ILDI.

We upload our web-photos to a third-party web site (Shutterfly.com) that
stores them at no charge to ILDI.  Shutterfly makes it easy for parents,
participants, and others to view our web-photos at no charge.  Optionally,
prints, photo-mugs, photo-mousepads, photo-T-shirts, and other photo-gifts
may be purchased by registering with Shutterfly and following their
instructions.  Providing web-photos of our events for purchase is a new and
evolving idea.  ILDI hopes this service will be a positive one for our
teams.  ILDI does not receive any monies from sales on this third-party site.

When arriving at Shutterfly, if you do NOT wish to make a purchase, you do
NOT need to register.  You may simply click on the "photo-album" of your
choice to view our web-photos individually or in a slide show.
Right-clicking on a web-photo will allow you to download a LOW-resolution
copy; HIGH-resolution copies are available for sale.  If you decide to
purchase from Shutterfly, you will need to open a Shutterfly account, copy
the web-photos you want into that account, then place your order.

The web-photos from each ILDI event will be grouped together.  Tournament
photos may be divided into the following sub-groups: 1) arrival &
registration, 2) common areas, 3) appraisers/volunteers, 4) team photos, 5)
inside the challenge rooms, and 6) the awards ceremony. The web-photos may
or may not be organized randomly within each sub-group.  All web-photos,
except those taken inside the challenge rooms, will be uploaded to
Shutterfly as soon as possible.

Please note that our web-photos are NOT on the main Shutterfly web site
and that while navigating the site you might be transferred to Shutterfly’s
main site with no way to get back to the ILDI photos. If that happens,
simply exit Shutterfly, then re-enter using the link below.

You are about to leave the Illinois Destination website.  ILDI has no
reason to believe that your experience with Shutterfly will be anything
less than represented; however, we are not responsible for the services or
claims made by others.

If you agree to these conditions, you may click below to be taken to
Shutterfly.com.
