Scholarship Information 2006

We had wonderful entries this year! Congratulations to all the applicants- we wish we could have given you ALL an award. Remember that the search is open to all graduating seniors and to students engaged in post secondary educational efforts up through graduate school!  

This year's $500 ILDI Scholarship recipient, Robert Dignan of Glen Ellyn, Illinois. Bob  received his award at the 2006 Illinois Affiliate Finals Awards Ceremonies April 8, 2006 .

Special Awards: In 2002 received a Renaissance award for delivery device which incorporated whipped cream CO2 cartridges as propulsion in 'It's your Move

The Criteria for their Creative Essay was:

• Submit an original essay on a subject of your choosing that will give us a glimpse of the real you. You may write about a personal experience or an issue that is of genuine interest to you. This piece may be expository, fictional, or poetic and should exemplify your style, creativity and abilities.
