Training

New! Summer Training Challenge!

Be sure to get in on this summer's training contest to make a humorous visual media product (Power Points are so last century!) – live or animated – not more than 5 minutes in length explaining the information from the Rules of the Road in one of three areas – Interference, Side-Trips, or Team Budget and Expense Reports.

Check out all the details at http://www.illinoisdestinationimagination.org/training-contest1

More summertime activities

I first posted this Scavenger Hunt field trip idea in Sept 09, but this is a great summertime activity too!

Summertime and Travel Talk

"Whether off on a grand (or not so grand!) vacation, carpooling the neighborhood kids to school or just running errands, you probably find yourself spending more time in the car than you'd like. But, look at it this way. While your kids (or the neighbor's kids) are strapped into their seatbelts, they become a captive audience. You could regale them with a detailed account of your last root canal. OR, you can introduce them to some of the games from Travel Talk.

Recapping the 2009-2010 DI Season and enjoying the summer

As we wrap up the 2009-2010 DI season, I thought it might be good to make you aware that there are video resources- visual examples- available on Youtube. Viewing these can give you an idea of what was brought to the Global competition- the best of the best!

Are you using ALL of your DI program materials?

(Thanks to Judy, ATD from Cr8Iowa, for the reminders)

The following thread from the dini@yahoogroups.com listgroup will be interesting for TMs that are managing structure teams but also for those who wonder about "interference" etc... I am attaching the ppt slide that shows the Interference Triangle for reference.
